1968 David Bowie Ice Cream Commercial

As Roy Carr and Charles Shaaar Murray wrote in their excellent book "David Bowie: An Illustrated Record":

David Bowie did not release any records during 1968 BUT......

That's David running up the steps of the double decker bus and according to Kevin Cann's excellent Bowie book "Anyday Now: Bowie The London Years 1947-1974" he's also in the band in the sequence "playing" guitar in this 1968 Lyon's Maid ice cream TV commercial.  I'm not sure who's doing the music but a version of the same song was issued as a single in the U.K. by Mint in 1969 on the short lived Tangerine label (DP 0014) and was written by our music library heroes Alan Hawkshaw and Ray Cameron!  Mint's version popped up on the " We Can Fly Volume Four" psych CD comp series.
